Marchwood

This pretty plot in the delightfully named village of Inkpen was once home to a less than beautiful bungalow which was completely demolished to make way for an elegant five bedroom, three bathroom house with a secluded wrap around garden and separate double garage. The exterior of the property was painstakingly designed with traditional, vernacular touches like the tile hung rear of the house and the finely crafted corbel detail of the bricks, while the interior was designed for stylish modern living. Astley Lodge

Once a modest 1970’s agricultural bungalow set in the hugely popular village of Ashmansworth, this property was transformed into a spacious family home with uninterrupted views of the Hampshire countryside. Extended and renovated with care and consideration, Astley Lodge became a five bedroom, three bathroom house with a huge kitchen and living area, a generous drawing room and all five bedrooms overlooking the stunning view; a study, separate utility and boot room as well as a double garage with potential to convert the space above in to an office or extra guest accommodation. Bronte House

The transformation of this house from a far from exciting 1970’s box into a supremely elegant six bedroom family home is hard to believe. The facade was elevated by the addition of a double height entrance hall and verandah, new timber double glazed windows and sympathetically chosen materials that fuse the contemporary and traditional perfectly. The back of the house was equally enhanced by the construction of an oak framed bedroom suite and verandah below giving far reaching views of the Berkshire countryside. The beautiful bespoke kitchen was painstakingly designed and crafted in collaboration with the client, along with joinery throughout the house including a boot room, snug, bedroom shelving and separate larder room.
